About Us

At the Academy for Creative Enrichment (ACE), we offer a warm, homelike learning environment for children from 3 months through Kindergarten. We also provide before and after-care for school-age children, along with exciting Summer Programming. Our unique Theme Dramatics curriculum enhances early development by allowing children to explore and learn through hands on, imaginative play. Children develop crucial academic and life skills—all while having fun! They don’t even realize they’re learning.

Why Early Childhood Matters

Although childhood makes up less than 20% of our lifespan, it’s the foundation upon which all future learning and success are built. That’s why it’s essential to fill these years with joy, creativity, and meaningful experiences. At ACE, we combine routine, structure, and theme-based dramatic play to provide children with consistency and stimulation in a secure, enriching environment.

We follow a predictable daily routine that helps children feel safe and confident. Humans naturally thrive on routine—it fosters mental well-being and a sense of control. We combine this with interactive play, which turns each day into an adventure in learning.

The Power of Pretend Play

Remember playing “store,” “school,” or “doctor” as a child? It was fun—but it was also educational. Pretend play builds problem-solving, communication, and social-emotional skills in a natural, engaging way.

At ACE, learning is part of the fun:

Be a Tour Guide in a class-made museum, explaining items created and explored during the week. Sell “tickets” for a student-designed space shuttle—where shapes, letters, and colors might be your currency. Cruise through town in a Lil’ Tikes car with your self-designed driver’s license! Instead of rote memorization, flashcards, or workbooks children at ACE learn through active exploration and creative expression.

Learning Centers: Where Creativity Comes Alive

Every day, students explore a variety of Learning Centers, both indoors and out. These areas are designed to support all aspects of our current theme and include activities like: Cutting, pasting, and painting, Exploring and researching, Problem Solving and graphing, Creating, molding, and storytelling, And don’t forget Circle Time—a daily favorite. Here, children share stories, sing songs, and express themselves freely. It’s also where teachers gather insight and inspiration for future lessons.

A Curriculum That Listens and Adapts

Our curriculum is flexible and child-centered. If a student asks, “Why?”, we explore the answer—whether or not it’s part of the day’s plan.

We also recognize that our infant learners sometimes run on their own internal clocks. While we maintain structure, we’re mindful to allow space for flexibility when needed.
